Barry Coffey is a seasoned mechanical and electrical engineer with extensive experience delivering complex projects across the food & beverage, industrial, educational, and commercial sectors. Since 2009, he has led the design and coordination of M&E systems through all project stages — from feasibility and concept to detailed design, construction, and handover. Barry specialises in assessing existing building services, developing cost-effective, high-performance solutions, and ensuring compliance with Irish Building Regulations, including NZEB and Fire Safety standards. He works closely with architects to optimise energy efficiency through building orientation, passive design strategies, and sustainable fuel choices. With a strong focus on quality, sustainability, and stakeholder communication, Barry’s leadership ensures the timely, compliant delivery of M&E designs on every project.
