Andrew is well known across Ireland’s business community. Originally a Chemical Engineer and Chemical Plant Manager with Henkel KGAA, Andrew founded his first company, Slainte Healthcare in 2006 after completing an MBA in Smurfit Business School. Slainte developed the core operating system for Ireland’s health insurance revenue cycle, streamlining how health insurance claims and payments operated across the Irish Acute Health Sector, He also founded Vitro Software, operating in multiple countries supporting clinical and administrative records. After exiting to US PE in 2015, Andrew supported multiple startups to scale internationally, alongside co-founding Ed-Tech Startup, Robotify (which exited to US PE backed Imaging Learning in 2021). In 2018 Andrew combined with Alan Kerr and Thomas Davy who had just founded Erisbeg and along with Robert Burns. Since then erisbeg’s portfolio has expanded to investments in over 30 companies. Andrew has chaired ORS since January 2023 and also sits on the board or as Chair in multiple other businesses across a range of sectors.
