
Oisín Doherty
Associate Director
Oisín Doherty is an Environmental Consultant at ORS with over 11 years’ post-graduate experience in public and private sector environmental services. Oisin has developed a broad range of experience whilst working throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland in several areas including Renewable Energy, Environmental Monitoring, Environmental Compliance and Waste Management.
Prior to joining ORS, Oisín spent four years as Environmental Manager and subsequently Plant Manager of two large-scale commercial Biogas facilities operating under EPA and DAFM license conditions. During this time, he gained in-depth knowledge of renewable Biomethane and CO₂ production, Waste Management, Environmental Licence Compliance, and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
Oisín has extensive experience in water quality monitoring projects, having spent four years as a Scientific Officer with a cross-border government agency responsible for water quality monitoring, pollution investigation, and laboratory analysis. Since 2015, he has coordinated and delivered annual Water Framework Directive (WFD) monitoring projects on behalf of Public Sector clients. Additionally, Oisín has experience in Public Sector Waste Management and the delivery of Environmental Education Programmes from his time spent with Local Authorities in Northern Ireland.
