Quality Assurance Services
Under the LDA’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control Services Framework, ORS was appointed as Technical Monitor to provide independent oversight across developments funded through Project Tosaigh II. The role undertaken by ORS focused on ensuring full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and quality standards, supporting the LDA in delivering homes to the highest possible standard.
This involved close coordination with design teams and contractors, supported by a structured inspection and quality control regime. Regular design reviews, site visits, and technical workshops formed a core part of the ORS teams’ methodology, allowing for early identification of risks, resolution of technical issues, and assurance of quality throughout the construction phase.
In addition to on-site monitoring, ORS drew on its in-house multidisciplinary expertise to assess project compliance across all key disciplines. The ORS team includes specialists in Civil, Structural, Infrastructure, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Safety, Disability Access, Environmental, and Sustainability, enabling us to provide a fully integrated approach to Technical Due Diligence and QAQC services. .
Through this framework, ORS continues to deliver critical support on multiple LDA projects, ensuring robust quality management from design through to handover across a wide portfolio of housing developments.
