ORS was proud to support the delivery of the CurrencyFair office fit-out in Ballsbridge, a contemporary Category B workplace project designed to reflect the company’s fast-paced fintech environment and commitment to innovation. The project involved a high-specification mechanical and electrical (M&E) fit-out focused on delivering a high-performance, energy-efficient and adaptable workspace tailored to modern ways of working.

A key feature of the fit-out was the installation of a state-of-the-art Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) air conditioning system, providing intelligent climate control across open-plan offices, collaboration areas and meeting suites. Designed to maximise occupant comfort while minimising operational costs and environmental impact, the system formed a central component of the project’s sustainable building strategy.

Working closely with the wider design and delivery team, ORS supported the successful coordination and compliance management of the fit-out, helping to deliver a future-ready workplace environment aligned with CurrencyFair’s operational and technological requirements.

Project Outcome

The CurrencyFair office fit-out delivered a high-performance workplace tailored to the company’s fast-paced global operations. Through strong coordination, technical oversight and a focus on functionality, the project seamlessly integrated modern building services, smart technologies and high-quality interior finishes.

The fit-out included a full LED lighting scheme with advanced smart controls, presence detection and daylight dimming to improve comfort and energy efficiency. Upgraded data cabling and AV systems supported hybrid working and real-time collaboration, while acoustic treatments and ergonomic finishes created a flexible, future-ready workspace.

The project highlights ORS’s ability to deliver technically sophisticated commercial fit-outs with a strong focus on quality, compliance and operational performance aligned with the client’s long-term business goals.

Challenges & Solution

The technically demanding nature of the CurrencyFair office fit-out required careful coordination, agile decision-making and close collaboration across the wider project team. ORS supported a structured and solutions-focused delivery approach, enabling technical queries, compliance requirements and building services integration challenges to be resolved efficiently throughout the programme.

The sophisticated M&E installation required careful sequencing and coordination to ensure the seamless integration of intelligent climate control, smart lighting systems and upgraded communications infrastructure.
