Project Outcome
ORS were engaged as the M&E consultant for the delivery of Phase 2 cleanroom facility, working within the constraints of an existing live building and service limitations. Early challenges included limited ceiling voids, constrained plant capacity, and the need to integrate new cleanroom infrastructure without disrupting ongoing operations.
Our team developed and delivered a highly controlled HVAC solution designed to meet ISO cleanroom standards, ensuring precise control of temperature, humidity, airflow, and particulate levels. Complex pressure cascades and HEPA filtration strategies were engineered to manage contamination risk, while detailed BIM coordination resolved spatial clashes and optimised system routing within the tight structural envelope.
The result is a compliant, high-performance cleanroom environment supporting advanced polymer research and production, delivering resilience, operational efficiency, and certainty of performance within a highly constrained retrofit setting throughout.
